A great week at Tommy Doyle’s was capped off with a visit from Wally the Green Monster. He stopped by “The 3rd Annual Benefit for Jane” with musical guests AfroDZak and 2Adam12. It was a great night, and a great cause. A special thanks to Adam for putting it all together.

One of Tommy Doyle’s favorite patrons, Sgt. James Crowley of the Cambridge police department, had his lunch at Tommy Doyle’s interrupted by a phone call from President Barack Obama! It was truly an amazing moment, we were all so proud to be a part of it. We can’t thank Sgt. Crowley and the Cambridge Police enough for their professionalism, dedication, and service to the community!

U2 stirred up some excitement in Cambridge Wednesday night after their 5-song show at the Somerville Theatre when drummer Larry Mullen Jr. stopped in our Harvard Square location for a Guinness with some friends!
From Boston.com: “But the handsome drummer did show up at Tommy Doyle’s, the Irish bar across the street. Said GM Garrett Tingle: ‘He ordered a Guinness and few drinks for his friends. Everyone’s jaws dropped to the floor, but he was very gracious with customers and stayed for about 45 minutes.’ ”
